Therapeutic Recreation

Afternoons at our day school are devoted to a variety of interclass therapeutic recreational activities. These are wide-ranging and open to student input and interest; past groups have included claymation filmmaking, computer programming, sports, knitting, woodworking, baking, fishing, writing workshops, game design, and more!

These activities are designed and taught with an emphasis on promoting emotional coping strategies, interpersonal skills, as well as general confidence and resilience in a nontraditional classroom setting.
